We are providing a friendly reminder that the Dane County Landfill, Construction and Demolition Recycling Facility, and Clean Sweep will be closed Thursday, November 27th and Friday, November 28th in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday.
We will be reopen Saturday, November 29th for normal operating hours of 8:00 AM – 10:45 AM. Thank you.
Each year the Dane County Clean Sweep receives a Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (WDATCP) agricultural clean sweep grant. This grant underwrites our disposal costs so there will be no cost to farmers to dispose of unused or unwanted pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers through the Dane County Clean Sweep program. Additionally, agricultural businesses pay only one-half the normal business cost to dispose of unused or unwanted pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers.
Schedule an Appointment: Agricultural hazardous waste and chemicals are accepted by appointment only Tuesdays to Fridays.
