Landfill and Clean Sweep - Location and Hours

Regular operating hours for the Dane County Landfill and Construction and Demolition Recycling Facility: 

• Monday - Friday: 6:30 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. Saturday: 8:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.

Regular operating hours for Dane County Clean Sweep: 

• Monday - Friday 7:15 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.

Our facility is closed Sundays and on the following holidays:

New Years Eve & New Years Day | December 31st & January 1st

Martin Luther King Day | Third Monday of January

Memorial Day | Last Monday of May

Independence Day | July 4th

Labor Day | First Monday of September

Thanksgiving Day & Day After | Fourth Thursday & Friday of November

Christmas Eve & Christmas Day | December 24th & 25th

To provide an essential service to our communities, the Dane County Landfill and Construction and Demolition Facility (not Clean Sweep) will be open from 6:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. on the following holidays:

Indigenous Peoples' Day | October 14th

Veterans Day | November 11th
